PAPHLAGONIA. Neoclaudiopolis. Trajan, 98-117. Assarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.47 g, 12 h), CY 107 = 101/2. [ΑΥΤ ΝΕΡ] ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ [ϹΕΒ ΓΕΡ ΔΑΚΙΚΟϹ] Laureate head of Trajan to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. ΝΕΟΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΠΟΛΕΙΤⲰΝ / P-Z Shield inscribed [ΔΑΚΙ/ΚΟC] with two crossed spears behind. RPC III 2905 (same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. Fine.
